Valdo, former apprentice to Da Vinci archive heir Francesco Melzi, is an avid student of the artist's work. He is contacted by a mysterious patron who entrusts him with collecting together Da Vinci's stray manuscripts and codices. Valdo is a willing servant and sets about his task with enthusiasm. Little does he suspect the secrets he is about to reveal, nor the dangers awaiting him.
